Carrie Pither who is serving with Africa Inland Mission, AIM AIR in East Africa will be home for a brief visit in July and would very much like to see you at any or all of these events:

Sunday 9th July – Carrie will be speaking at the 9.15 am services in the church and hall.

Sunday 9th July 3pm until 4.30pm there will be Afternoon Tea in the Rectory garden, Bishop’s Waltham with fresh homemade scones, with a chance to catch up with Carrie. (Please bring a chair or blanket.)

Thursday 20th July 7.30pm in the Stables, Bishop’s Waltham, Carrie will be talking about her first year in Africa and taking questions in her “Meet the Missionary” event, everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served.

MESSY CHURCH - 3rd Monday Every Month - 3.30-5.30pm

Messy Church is a fresh way of experiencing Church. Hot meal, craft activities and a short celebration.

Who is this for? YOU! Messy Church is for everyone, especially families of all shapes and sizes who find it hard to get to Church on Sundays. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Where? St Peter’s Church Hall, Free St, Bishop’s Waltham

When? 3rd Monday each month.

What time? From 3.30 - 5.30pm

How much? There is no charge for Messy Church, but if you are able to contribute towards costs donations would be welcome.
